Darrell and I live in Lakewood (near Denver), Colorado, USA. We got our first Show Dog shortly after we got married in 1988. He was a beautiful Chinese Shar-Pei named "Amaximis How Hot Can You Get" (we called him Howie) from Troy Cashman of Amaximis Kennels. "Howie" was our introduction to the Sport of Showing Dogs! Through mutual friends we met Judy Ferland of Jaeland Kennels and became very interested in the Portuguese Water Dog. Judy is a wonderful friend and a great Mentor! "Jaeland-Del Sur's Midnite Cruz" ("Cruzier") sent us on our way to a wonderful adventure showing our Portuguese Water Dog(s). Yes! The group grew! While traveling with the Water Dogs Judy and I met Cindy Stumm of Aristes Kennels in California and were introduced to the The Black Russian Terrier! I was mesmerized!!! Cindy was showing a magnificent Black Russian Terrier named "Tuuz". The rest is history! We had to have a Tuuz puppy! The first week in May of 1996 we opened our hearts to a darling little puppy we named "Sergei" ("Aristes Double Axle Trio"). Sergei opened up the world of The Black Russian Terrier!!!
